I was impressed with the service department and the customer waiting lounge. Service writer was friendly. My thanks and appreciation to Omar the technician who, within 30 seconds of approaching my vehicle, was able to diagnose the problem and subsequently correct it in a matter of minutes to get me back on the road. My thanks also go out to Brian my salesperson who set up the service appointment for me.

From the date of the purchase of my 2023 Edge to current Rod Baker Ford has shown nothing but the highest level of professionalism and quality service. Vincent Albold, a Service Advisor, employed by the dealership, took a very difficult situation for me upon my arrival to the service department and turned it around with compassion, understanding and a sincere desire to help cure the situation. This was my first time bringing my car in for service as I just moved to the area. Not only was my oil change far less than an “oil change place”, but they also inspected my SUV and rotated my tires for that lower price. The service department was so friendly and Vincent (my service advisor) was extremely helpful and polite. I’ll definitely be bringing my car back and encouraging my husband to bring his F150 there as well.

Paige Grandowski at the Plainfield Ford was undoubtedly the best sales representative I have ever worked with for any purchase. Paige was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. She was not pushy or overbearing with trying to sell a vehicle. I felt as though she really wanted me to find what fit me best and help in any way she could. I ultimately purchased a 2023 Ford F-150 Lariat on March 11th. I have enjoyed the vehicle so far. The check engine light was on when I purchased the vehicle and the sales manager stated that the battery voltage was low due to it being on the lot for several months. I have driven the truck about 500 miles and the light is still on. I will be calling Rod Baker Ford to get a new battery, which they offered free of charge. Overall, my experience at Rod Baler Ford was great. If you’re looking for a vehicle, Paige is the best person to help you find the perfect one!

We spoke on the phone then over text and email for two days, agreed loosely on price, then we had a great experience when we showed up to test drive and purchase the truck. Highly recommend the kind folks @ Rod Baker! I get my Explorer serviced here every time! Kind, efficient, waiting are clean and does not smell like a repair shop, high tech, fair pricing, and service with a smile, my kind of place! I also want to mention we purchased our car here and they the are honest and NOT pushy. They do not jerk you around on pricing either! I will be going back soon to see Don for another car, be sure to ask for him in sales and tell him I sent ya!

Bought a new Bronco. Was a great experience. They worked with us on getting a fair price on our Mach E as well as working with several lenders to get us the best rate. No one was pushy with extras. My only complaint is all their cars they install a Pulse Brake light add-on that costs $400, and I would have never chosen to add something like that. All in all, we for sure will be returning in the future. It was much better than the experience we got from another local Ford dealer when we bought our Mach E. I have also used their service department a few times, and they have been great as well.

I recently purchased a Ford Edge at Rod Baker Ford. I was extremely happy with my experience there. My salesman was Don Sulejmani. He was extremely helpful throughout the sale, communicating with me in a timely manner throughout the whole process. He was able to find the car I was looking for and I feel their pricing was fair for the new car as well as for my trade-in of a 2016 Edge. There were no high pressure tactics used to push me to make decisions before I was ready to finalize the purchase, which I appreciate. This is the third car I have purchased from Rod Baker Ford and will definitely go back there again as well as recommend them to friends and family.

I was recently passing through the Chicago area and was unable to roll up the rear window of my new Escape. I was hours from home as well as my local dealer, and it was starting to rain. I stopped at a nearby Ford service center just off the interstate who would not be able to look at my car for several hours. It was recommended I contact Rod Baker Ford to see if they could at least get the window raised until I was able to get home for the repairs. I called and spoke with Joseph P who said he would have the service center look at the vehicle to see what could be done. A little over an hour later, my car had not only been "looked at", the master switch had been replaced and I was able to get back on the road. Thank you, Joseph and Aaron B (technician). If I was treated this well as a person just passing through, how much better service if I were a local.

Stellar service!!! If you haven’t used the mobile unit for service, I highly recommend it. They came out to my home, diagnosed the issue in my driveway, picked it up, and returned it to my home. No inconvenience to me whatsoever. In the meantime we purchased a new commercial truck for our business which went smoothly. No pushing, no badgering, and straight to the point. This is best I’ve felt about a dealership in a long time. Thank you!

My husband and I popped in late in the day to look at a new Ford truck. Our salesman, Don, was finishing up a deal with another couple but worked between us both seamlessly. Don was patient, extremely knowledgeable, and courteous as we switched gears and went from a smaller truck to a larger one. He helped us find the perfect truck for my husband. Though it was late in the evening, he knew how busy our schedules were, so Don, the sales manager Fritzy (James Fritz), Lisa Czerwinski the F & I manager, and a couple of really nice and helpful porters all stayed 2 1/2 hours AFTER CLOSING to help us finish the deal that night. Huge thanks to you all! We will definitely recommend this dealer and its lovely staff. Bonus: Its new location, huge inventory, building, and cool, high-tech (almost) paperless signing, make the experience that much more fun!

I want to take a moment to say how much I appreciated working with Colin Lewin @ RB Ford. He was quick to reach out to me when I inquired online and was real-time texting me throughout the process. I sent one text Saturday morning @ 7a not expecting to hear from him until after things opened but he texted me back straight away. I recently scheduled my first at-home service appointment with your dealership for an oil change and tire rotation, and I wanted to share what a great experience it was. When I called to set up the appointment, Jen walked me through the entire process. Jen was clear, helpful, and genuinely great to work with, which made getting everything arranged very easy. On the day of the appointment, Matt called ahead to confirm the arrival time and showed up right on schedule. Before starting the work, Matt checked in and asked for permission to move the truck to the street due to the wind, explaining that it would help avoid getting oil on the driveway. That level of care and consideration really stood out. After completing the service, Matt followed up to let me know everything was done. Both Jen and Matt were professional, courteous, and a pleasure to work with. The entire process was smooth and seamless from start to finish. I bought a new 2026 Explorer ST at Rod Baker Ford first week of May, and I had a nice stress-free experience. My sales rep was Brian Swidergal, a very friendly, knowledgeable and detail-oriented guy, genuinely helpful before and after the sale, answering questions and getting some specific things done from the Service department. After the initial test drive on a different model available on the lot, he made sure an ST of the color and exact options I wanted was available and could be brought over. I agreed on the overall deal the next evening, and he was considerate enough to suggest finalizing things the next morning, thus avoiding spending a late night at the dealership, as the final paperwork can take a lot of time. By the way, there was no need to haggle over the price, since Ford dealers are running a special Employee Pricing for All at the moment. I will also say that I received a very good value for my Mustang GT trade-in, which made the difference in my purchase decision. As a final note, I find the Explorer ST to be a powerful, comfortable and spacious SUV.

Came all the way from Montana to purchase a car that was competitively priced. Our salesperson Kaitlynn was amazing to work with, taking time to answer all my questions, sending pictures, videos, walking me through the inspection process, out of state buying process, and then giving personalized assistance once we arrived. Appreciated them picking us up at the airport to get us to the dealership. Kaitlynn and Mike helped correct a few things the car needed done before we would drive it home. They made this one of the best car buying experiences we have ever had. Only drawback was the added cost of a dealership installed pulse light breaking system but the pricing on the car still made this worth it. We purchased a used vehicle recently from Rod Baker Ford. We found the listing online a drove 3 hours to look at it. They were able to hold the vehicle for us once they knew we were on our way which was reassuring! The application forms were simple and the process was easy. Outstanding service from Rod Baker Ford and team! I was looking to purchase a new Bronco and decided to have it built to my specifications. Sales consultant Kaitlyn helped me every step of the way. She guided me through the entire process of ordering the Bronco from beginning to end.
