I have had difficulty with another dealership in the Chicago area and I changed to Rod Baker Ford in Plainfield, IL. The experience was over the top. They picked up my vehicle serviced it and returned the vehicle within 3 hours. This dealer is my new home for service.

The sales person Kaitlyn was great. No pressure and easy to talk to. She didn't use any of the standard delay tactics a lot of salespeople use to keep you there or pretend to be your friend. She was straight forward and answered all my questions. And here is the best part - I was in with Lisa the finance person who was also great good they paperwork when I just changed my mind and didn't want to but the car and neither one of them pressured me at all. They were not very professional and they understood my position about being concerned having a car payment which I haven't had in over three years. They cancelled the deal and told me I was welcome to come back if I ever changed my mind. A very refreshing approach from a salesperson and finance person at a dealership.

The dreaded trip to the car dealership wasn't anything like past experiences. MATT was responsive and kind from the start. The whole process including the financing portion was efficient. Matt and the finance department accomodated our late arrival and stayed past closing. So glad we took our chances here.

If you are looking to buy a vehicle I would go here. First thing is there was no pressure while looking around. I had my eye on a jeep they had on the lot. I was able to look at it with freedom. I made the choice to drive the suv and as I was walking in the salesman walked up and asked if I would want to drive it. I got the keys and went for a ride without anyone with me. When I got back to the dealership I made the purchase of the SUV. Luke was great to me. He offered me refreshments and was great to talk to while they prepared all the paperwork. All the staff is very nice and helpful. It’s been a while since I bought a car and they made it a great experience. Even after a week, Luke messaged to make sure everything was going good and to ask if they could help with anything. In the future I will be heading back to this dealership to purchase again.

My experience at Rod Baker Ford was about as good as it could get when buying a car. Matt was extremely kind and patient while helping us out during the process. He answered our questions and had a chat with us while we waited for financing. Additionally, the building has a very nice interior with a lot to look at while you wait. I would 100% recommend this place to others if they asked me where to buy a car from.

I highly recommend this car dealership. The service department is well put together. This car dealership highly value customer service and consumer pricing. I had the opportunity to meet the General Manager Anthony Lepore. Mr. Lepore is one classy GM and he walks around to make sure consumers are being valued. I highly recommend this dealership. When you’re looking at your new purchase. I beg you to meet Anthony Lepore. This brother is all business but not some sleazy person in the sales division. He is the face of a good dealership. My mom passed and just speaking with Mr. Lepore I felt his energy to keep trying and pushing forward. Customer service is really valued at this company. Highly recommend this company!

I want to take a moment to say how much I appreciated working with Colin Lewin @ RB Ford. He was quick to reach out to me when I inquired online and was real-time texting me throughout the process. I sent one text Saturday morning @ 7a not expecting to hear from him until after things opened but he texted me back straight away. He was working on helping me close the final price on a deal for a vehicle I hadn’t even been able to see yet before the dealership was even open. He was extremely accommodating to work at a fair price for a fully certified vehicle. Great peace of mind to be sure. I recently scheduled my first at-home service appointment with your dealership for an oil change and tire rotation, and I wanted to share what a great experience it was. When I called to set up the appointment, Jen walked me through the entire process. Jen was clear, helpful, and genuinely great to work with, which made getting everything arranged very easy. On the day of the appointment, Matt called ahead to confirm the arrival time and showed up right on schedule. Before starting the work, Matt checked in and asked for permission to move the truck to the street due to the wind, explaining that it would help avoid getting oil on the driveway. That level of care and consideration really stood out. After completing the service, Matt followed up to let me know everything was done. Both Jen and Matt were professional, courteous, and a pleasure to work with. The entire process was smooth and seamless from start to finish. I truly appreciate the excellent service and attention to detail. Thanks!

I bought a new 2026 Explorer ST at Rod Baker Ford first week of May, and I had a nice stress-free experience. My sales rep was Brian Swidergal, a very friendly, knowledgeable and detail-oriented guy, genuinely helpful before and after the sale, answering questions and getting some specific things done from the Service department. After the initial test drive on a different model available on the lot, he made sure an ST of the color and exact options I wanted was available and could be brought over. I agreed on the overall deal the next evening, and he was considerate enough to suggest finalizing things the next morning, thus avoiding spending a late night at the dealership, as the final paperwork can take a lot of time. By the way, there was no need to haggle over the price, since Ford dealers are running a special Employee Pricing for All at the moment. I will also say that I received a very good value for my Mustang GT trade-in, which made the difference in my purchase decision. As a final note, I find the Explorer ST to be a powerful, comfortable and spacious SUV.

Came all the way from Montana to purchase a car that was competitively priced. Our salesperson Kaitlynn was amazing to work with, taking time to answer all my questions, sending pictures, videos, walking me through the inspection process, out of state buying process, and then giving personalized assistance once we arrived. Appreciated them picking us up at the airport to get us to the dealership. Kaitlynn and Mike helped correct a few things the car needed done before we would drive it home. They made this one of the best car buying experiences we have ever had. Only drawback was the added cost of a dealership installed pulse light breaking system but the pricing on the car still made this worth it. We would return in the future for our next vehicle purchase. Great job team Rod Baker!

We recently moved to the Plainfield/Naperville area and have been thinking about purchasing an electric vehicle. We purchased a used vehicle recently from Rod Baker Ford. We found the listing online a drove 3 hours to look at it. They were able to hold the vehicle for us once they knew we were on our way which was reassuring! The application forms were simple and the process was easy. They were able to work with us on our trade in and we were able to get the price we wanted on our payment after a bit of back n’ forth. (As expected, It’s a car dealership). We worked with Matt. He was very attentive and made 2 follow up calls to see how the vehicle was working out for us post purchase. We would recommend this dealer for someone looking to purchase.

I’m a middle-aged woman that purchased a 2015 Ford Edge, at Rod Baker Ford several years ago. In February 2025, I had some minor engine issues. When taking it in to be serviced, there were complications with the vehicle’s extended warranty, which immediately put me into a panic mode. However, the general manager, Anthony LePore; the finance manager, Lisa Czerwinski; and the service manager, Marcus Lawson went above and beyond all my expectations. They were patient, kind, and gracious when handling my situation. I left the dealership extremely satisfied, and proud of them for not taking advantage of their customer. Thank you, Rod Baker Ford!! You will definitely be my Ford dealer again!!

What a great experience getting my truck repaired. I don't usually associate great experience with repairs. Spoke with Vince and got an appointment quickly to check out a shifting problem. Joe and Mike helped me get checked in and supplied me with a loaner. The truck went in on a Monday and was completed by Friday. Awesome! Can't say enough good things about Vince, Joe and Mike in Service. Smoothest experience I have had at a service facility, and truck is running great again. Thanks!

Our son has been looking for a 2017-2020 F250 Platinum Super Duty Diesel for about a month and every time he finds “The One” he calls and they tell him the truck is sold. This was about 10 different dealerships between IL WI IN OH MI - “The One” was finally within reach at Rod Baker Ford - he scheduled an appt through the website for a just received F250 with everything he wanted-needed. Mark called on Monday to schedule a time for 7pm - later in the day Mark called back and said I have someone coming at 3pm and would let us know if it sells - we live 1.5hrs away - Mark messaged when we were on our way that the truck sold. Back to looking for “The One”. Tuesday Mark called and said they backed out and the truck was available. We said we’d be there on Wednesday- Mark wasn’t working - but that was the only day we could come. We arrived at 630pm (they close at 8pm) and we worked with a newer sales guy - Luke. Luke did a great job from the test drive - gathering info for the loan and negotiating a few changes. Funny the guy who backed out wanted back in on Wednesday but we already BOUGHT the truck. We also worked with Scott and Lisa in finance. We have purchased ALOT of cars from high end dealers and frankly this experience was as good as or even better than our other experiences. Thx for making things seamless - staying late - and helping us feel welcomed. We will tell our friends….

Vince and the whole team were very professional, attentive and communicative with my oil change and warranty claim. I will only be using them for anything else regarding my 2018 Ford F-150. The location I purchased my car at, left me with a terrible experience and I'm so grateful that Rob Baker Ford restored my trust and expectations of the Ford brand. Just recently bought an f150 from Brian Swidergal Rod Baker and the experience was the best I’d ever had. I just recently got into an accident totaling my old truck. I had very little time to spend at the dealership so I told him I needed to get as much finalized as possible before traveling to the dealership. He delivered and the entire experience was great from start to finish. I’m very happy with the truck and will be doing business with him exclusively in the future.

Joe Picicci has always provided excellent service on the few times that I have needed to have work done on my vehicle. On this occasion he was able to get the bulk of the cost approved through my extended warranty. No questions asked and with great follow up. Provided a loaner for the time my car was under repair. This is not the first time Joe has provided this type of service at Rod Baker. There are other Ford dealers closer to home but would not go any where else. I was having some issues with my F250 and my friend recommended I bring my truck here. I called them and spoke to Darren B. who was courteous and understanding about my situation. I was told to arrive around noon and when I arrived I could tell that this was the right place for me. Darren greeted me right away and started the process to get my truck repaired. The truck was taken into the shop by Kevin N. who diagnosed the problems without fail. I was informed and shown what problems I had and the proper repairs required to fix the issues. Everyone here was great and I knew the repairs would be done properly without shortcuts. A huge Thank You to the members that helped my truck get back on the road and safe again. You have gained a happy and lifelong customer.

EXCELLENT service... fast, efficient, reasonably priced. Stopped in one day, got my issue looked at on the spot, part needed was in stock, scheduled repair appointment for the following day, in and out on that repair appointment in under an hour... VERY happy with my experience! Won't take my Explorer anywhere else!

The service department did a fantastic job on my '21 F-150 with 70,000 miles on it. Brought it in for transmission flush, spark plug replacement, oil change, and tire rotation. I was worried about flushing the transmission after reading so many pros and cons, but I drove out of there with what felt like a brand new vehicle. Smoothed out the shifts and the engine idle. The tech did a great job, and I'll be back with my other 2 Ford's when the time comes.

When I take my car in for service they always do a good job. I usually have to wait while the service is being performed and they are reasonably fast while changing the oil, rotating the tires, checking the brake pads, tires, other fluid levels and giving me a report on them before I leave and at a reasonable price.

I brought my car in for service on a Friday morning due to my passenger side blowers blowing cold air instead of heat. Worked with Patrick in the service department to get it taken care of. Was told service may go into Monday depending on the complexity of the fix. Told Patrick I needed my car for the weekend and the service department was able to get the repair done by the early evening so I could have my car that weekend. Was very pleased with the service and communication by Patrick and the service department.

Needed used car for my daughter.When I called to ask if the car is still available Billy confirmed that it is. Went there and Billy got me key for a test drive. Liked how car drove and it looked clean with no damages anywhere to be found.Told Billy my situation and Billy was more than helpful in getting it done. No pressure from anyone there and that is very important. Give Billy a chance and he will take care of you.Dealership is very nice and clean, many vehicles to choose from. My family and I went to Rod Baker to purchase a new vehicle for our daughter. Our salesman Mark was awesome through the entire process. The discovered that the remote start and door locks were not functioning and was able to still purchase the vehicle and schedule the repair to be performed free of charge. The service department was able to schedule me to come in and have a new key fob programmed to get it working properly. They also ordered parts and made repairs to my rear driver's door that was found to be hanging up while opening. This dealership really came through and stuck to their commitment to the customer. I would definitely recommend them to a friend and use them again in the future.

I want to thank Michelle and Matt at Rod Baker Ford for their amazing service! From the very first phone call from Michelle to my husband in regards to coming out for a recall on our Edge truck. Michelle explained to me the process and time frame to complete the recall timely while keeping the options within my hectic schedule. During our initial conversation I asked about a different issue we were having with our vehicle and she was more than glad to help us get that figured out as well. Michelle even connected with our extended warranty company for me so that was even less of a hassle. The mechanic that was sent out for the recall was Matt. Matt was also excellent, professional and very knowledgeable. Matt also communicated well and contacted me prior to our appointment with ETA's each time. I have a busy schedule as a mom with twins and I truly appreciate the opportunity to have both of these things taken care of in my driveway instead of having to bring it in to service! Bought a Ford Explorer for Rod Baker. It was due for some service. The Service Team gave me a call and asked if i wanted to schedule service. I said, i should it needs to get done. They asked how i felt if a service tech came to my house to change oil, rotate tires and give the vehicle a look through and send my sync system an update. I said well that sounds awesome! I had enough points on my account where everything was at no charge so that worked out. Mike the tech was awesome, friendly and seemed to know what he was doing. I didnt know about the home mobile service and he gave me more info on it. But how awesome they can service the vehicle in the driveway!

I bought a great 2020 FORD Escape Titanium Hybrid from Rod Baker Ford. One year later and all of 1900 (not 19,000) miles the car is advising me to Change Oil. I call Quick Lane and talk to Jennifer. I get my appointment time. I show up, 10 minutes later the car is up on the rack and about 30 minutes later it's on the ground and I'm off for home. WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE. No hassle, no upsell just a Thank You and see you next year. WHAT ELSE CAN ONE ASK OF ROD BAKER FORD AND QUICK LANE.
